How to Cosplay Star Wars With Your Favorite Star Wars Character

For Star Wars fans, a big part of the fun of cosplaying is getting to wear one of their favorite characters. So, we tapped Kilian Plunkett, who served as art director for both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, to share his tips on building an outfit that’s perfectly in sync with the show.

Anakin Skywalker

If you’re looking to dress up as a character that has made a lasting impression on fans, Anakin Skywalker is the perfect choice. His iconic appearance has captivated the minds of many and his scar is a must-have when it comes to cosplay star wars.

There are a lot of actors that could have had the chance to play the iconic role of Anakin Skywalker, but there’s no doubt that Hayden Christensen is the one that got it right. Thankfully, we’ll get to see more of his acting in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series and maybe even in the upcoming Disney+ movie.

Padme Amidala

Padme Amidala is a powerful force for good in the Star Wars universe. She served as the Queen of Naboo and later the Senator for the planet, and she fought to protect her people during the Clone Wars.

After Anakin and Padme secretly married, she became one of the most influential people in the galaxy’s politics. She helped bring about the Rebellion that would eventually overthrow the Galactic Empire.

Bo-Katan

Bo-Katan Kryze is a Mandalorian warrior and the leader of the Nite Owls. She was first seen on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and then reprised her role on Rebels.

A ruthless enforcer with no remorse, Bo-Katan is a loyal Mandalorian who believes in the savage raider lifestyle. She is a fan of the Darksaber and is seen as the rightful leader of her clan.

However, she had reservations about her Death Watch joining forces with two beings they found in an escape pod: Darth Maul and Savage Opress. She believed that these beings were “no better than Jedi.”

Sabine Wren

First introduced in Star Wars Rebels, Sabine Wren is making her live-action debut. During the Star Wars Celebration panel, Lucasfilm shared a new look at Natasha Liu Bordizzo as she brings Sabine to life.

As we’ve learned, Sabine was once a loyal Imperial Cadet on Mandalore. However, she soon came to regret her decision, which led to a tumultuous childhood. Eventually, she and her friend Ketsu Onyo escaped the Imperial Academy on Mandalore and joined the rebellion.

Captain Rex

The Clone Wars clone trooper Captain Rex is a fan favorite. He is an exemplary soldier and a great role model for young clones to follow.

He is the leader of Torrent Company and a clone trooper with a reputation for bravery under fire. He was cloned from bounty hunter Jango Fett and served under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano.

Kanan Jarrus

Kanan Jarrus is a fan favorite from Star Wars Rebels, and for good reason. Previously known as Caleb Dume, he survived the Jedi Purge and spent years hiding from the Empire.

Eventually, he embraced his Jedi training again, becoming a leader among the Ghost crew. Then, in “Jedi Night,” he died in a selfless act of sacrifice. He rescued Hera and helped the Ghost crew escape an explosion, restoring their sight in the process.

Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger is one of the most recognizable characters from Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels. A street rat from the Outer Rim world of Lothal, Ezra grows up as an orphan and eventually joins the Ghost crew as they free their home planet from the Galactic Empire.

In the series, he’s a powerful Jedi padawan who fights against the Inquisitors and Darth Vader. He even sacrifices himself to help free Lothal from the Empire.

Sabine’s Last Look

Sabine was one of the most popular characters in the Star Wars Rebels animated series. She is a strong-willed Mandalorian warrior who is passionate about fighting against the Empire.

In the end of the show, she embarked on a mission with her friend Ahsoka Tano to find Ezra Bridger, who went missing in Rebels. However, she hasn’t been seen since.

Kanan’s New Look

Starz’s crime drama Power Book III: Raising Kanan is about to kick off its second season on July 18. But before that happens, fans can get a sneak peek of the series’ new cast.

One of the newest additions is Sabine Wren. She’s got dark hair, golden skin, and eyes that look just right.
