Spider Gwen Cosplay For Halloween

Spider Gwen Cosplay For Halloween

A fan-favorite of the Spider-Man film series, Gwen Stacy, also known as Spider Gwen or Ghost-Spider, makes a great costume idea for Halloween. Whether you’re a fan of Emma Stone’s Gwen from The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel, or her version in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, you can pull off this look with some preppy shirt and skirt outfits and your favorite sneakers.
The Suit

Gwen Stacy, or Spider Gwen, is a popular character from the Marvel Universe who gained her powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. She is a superhero in her own right, with her own comic book series, merchandise, and appearances in animated shows and movies.

Gwen’s traditional suit is a red bodysuit that exposes her midriff and shoulders and includes arrow pattern marks across her chest and abdomen. She also has bandaged forearms and a sharp mask. In an alternate reality created by Morgan Le Fay, Mary Jane Watson wore a suit similar to Gwen’s when she was bonded to the Carnage Symbiote.

Our Spider Gwen costume is made of high-quality 4-way stretch Lycra fabric, a blend of Spandex and Polyester. It’s fully sewn and covers you from head to toe, with an invisible vertical zipper that runs along the back of the suit. The mask is detachable and the option for lenses or no lenses is included. Shoes not included.
The Mask

The mask is an essential part of Gwen’s look and adds a bit of darkness to her face. It’s the same style as Peter Parker’s mask, but with more of a feminine touch.

As the daughter of police captain George Stacy, Gwen knows all about police protocol and has a natural analytical mind. She is also a talented drummer in her band the Mary Janes and has great stamina, balance, coordination and durability.

Spider-Gwen gained her powers when she bonded with the Venom symbiote. This gave her superhuman strength, agility and speed; a precognition ability known as “spider-sense” and wrist-mounted web shooters.

She often teams up with other Spider-Totems from the Multiverse including her own Earth-616 version of Jessica Drew and Miles Morales. She has a strong bond with her father, and she works closely with her bandmates and the Mary Janes. She also fights the mayor of Battleworld, Norman Osborn, and is a member of Spider-Warriors.
The Shoes

Also known as Gwen Stacy and Ghost Spider or simply Spider Gwen, this costume will help your kiddo jump into the Spiderverse for Halloween. It includes a hooded bodysuit, mask and gloves.

One thing that really makes this outfit badass is the blue pointe shoes. You can either wear a pair of black chucks painted blue or go all out and get a pair of actual dancer shoes (which are expensive, hard to find in blue and will shred like crepe paper if you try to walk in them). If you’re not a dancer then I would suggest just sticking with the chucks. They’ll be more comfortable and will still look awesome. Plus, they’re not that expensive to just wear once or twice. I know because I’ve worn them to a few cosplay events before.
The Hair

Gwendolyne Maxine “Gwen” Stacy, or Spider-Gwen (also known as Ghost-Spider) is a popular Marvel character in a multiverse of parallel universes. She first appeared in the 2014 Spider-Verse comic book storyline, and was portrayed by Emma Stone in two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s films. She’s also the star of her own ongoing series and has been featured on merchandise and animated television shows.

Hailee Steinfeld voices Gwen in upcoming Spider-Verse movies Into, Across and Beyond, and will also star alongside Peter Parker as the superheroine in her own spin-off film. This version of Gwen is a science whiz at Brooklyn Visions Academy, where she meets Miles Morales, a/k/a Spider-Man, and the two start dating. Gwen is a popular Valedictorian who likes to dress in preppy clothing and is a bit more outgoing than her shy, quiet counterpart Peter. This look is easy to replicate with a pink sweater and skirt from any retailer, and you can add a backpack for the school vibe.Spider Gwen cosplay
